Ritualistically watching Letterman is obviously the top priority, regardless of what those pamphlets say. Pretty sure the various theories on why everyone's here/if they're really fictional would be pretty entertaining to read, actually.

Time Machine in particular is kind of amazing. They're like, completely tiny and don't do regular weekly comics? They only deal in back issues, old graphic novels and like... Collectors items like old magazines and TV guides from like 1982. It's really kind of a fascinating shop. Jim Hanley's is more like your standard comic shop, they just happen to be really good at stocking old or really prolific arcs for each character/family of characters. Not too long ago, I found an out of print Dr. Strange thing there that I'd been searching for for years. At like, gone to conventions looking for? Yeah, I was pretty impressed.
