Game Updates and Official Moving Announcement:
Thank you guys so much for your comments and extensive feedback in the last discussion post. It helps the mods immensely knowing what you want to see most from your zombie game.
We understand how confusing things must be right now, considering that for the most part, we're still floating between the end of the original game and the new mods trying to pull things together. Allow me to reiterate that the game still needs a lot of time and work before it reopens, given the amount of world building and plotting we have to do to ensure that things will run more smoothly in the future.
The basic premise will stay the same (fictional characters are pulled into the "real world," where they'll have to survive a zombie apocalypse), as well as some other aspects. In addition to that, we're hoping to add new twists and turns that will make the game even more exciting and fun to be a part of.
In regards to where the actual game play will be taking place, the mod team and I have talked this over in the last couple weeks, wagering in the additional player feedback we've received, and we've decided that the best course of action is to move things over to the community that Yami created. That way, the game can have a fresh start when it reopens to the public.
So pack up your things and name your pioneers. We're heading out on theOregon Dreamwidth Trail. I've already taken the liberty of making the rest of the communities, and here are the links:
Main Community
OOC Community
Logs Community
Mod Journal
Don't worry about your contact information or the taken character page: since I have administrative rights to the Deadweight communities, I can go ahead and transfer all that data for you. What you can do is friend the new communities, so we can continue the game updates from there.
The Syndemic mod contact page will soon be updated as well, and we fully encourage you to contact us with any further questions!
